Edwin was a wonderful man who enjoyed life to the full.  Even in later years his zest for adventure belittled his age.

No more so than when he co-piloted a light aircraft from Lichfield to Nuneaton over Bulkington to view his bungalow; on to Leicester then over to Derbyshire and back to Lichfield.  He also enjoyed driving tanks and other ex-military vehicles over a very challenging circuit, which he did on a number of occasions.

He will be sadly missed but remembered with great fondness by many.
